Behind every great conference is a powerhouse team of professionals who bring vision, passion, and purpose to the planning process. In collaboration with SMPS staff, the Amplify A|E|C Committee is the driving force behind the strategic direction and educational programming of the SMPS annual conference. Their mission? To deliver exceptional content, foster meaningful connections, and design an unforgettable experience for attendees—one that truly amplifies the power and potential of A/E/C marketers and business developers across the country.
As we look ahead to the 2025 event, we're excited to introduce this year's Amplify A|E|C Committee. From seasoned leaders to dynamic educators and creative strategists, this team brings a diverse range of expertise to the table, united by a shared commitment to elevating our profession.

Courtney Van Ostran, FSMPS, CPSM
2025 Conference Chair
Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development, Tec Inc. Engineering & Design
Courtney Van Ostran leads the charge as the 2025 Conference Chair, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing and business development within the A/E/C industry. Known for her strategic mindset and dedication to mentorship, Courtney serves as Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development at Tec Inc. Engineering & Design and is also Co-Owner of Zinkon Creative Studio.
A Certified Professional Services Marketer and Fellow of SMPS, Courtney credits her growth and career success to the insights and relationships cultivated through SMPS. Her past contributions to the Society—ranging from the Marketing Communications Awards to the Heartland Regional Conference—underscore her commitment to creating meaningful, high-impact programs. Courtney's focus as chair is to ensure that this year's conference serves as a transformative experience for attendees at every career stage.

Ashley Campbell, CPSM
Incoming Conference Chair
Senior Vice President, HITT Contracting, Inc.
Stepping into the role of Incoming Conference Chair, Ashley Campbell brings a multidimensional perspective to the committee—one shaped by nearly two decades in marketing, branding, communications, business development, and most recently, human capital. As Senior Vice President at HITT Contracting, she leads the firm's strategy around both client and employee experiences, advocating for a brand culture built on trust, inclusion, and excellence.
Ashley is no stranger to SMPS leadership, having chaired multiple committees and served more than five years on the Board of Directors for the Washington, DC, Chapter. She also served on the 2023 Amplify A|E|C Programming Committee. Her strategic approach and people-first mindset ensure this year's conference will be visionary and grounded in real value for attendees.

Ida Cheinman
Program Lead

Ida Cheinman is a creative force with a deep understanding of how brand strategy, design, and digital innovation can elevate firms in a competitive marketplace. As Principal and Creative Director of Substance151, she leads an award-winning team known for delivering strategic clarity and bold creative solutions.
With 25 years of experience, Ida is a sought-after speaker and educator who excels at making complex ideas accessible and actionable. Her SMPS leadership roles include past president of SMPS Maryland, service on the Northeast Regional Conference team, and current membership on the Marketer editorial committee. Ida brings a future-focused lens to the Amplify committee, helping shape programming that speaks to the evolving challenges and opportunities of the profession.
Damion Morris, CPSM
Program Lead
Marketing and Communications Manager, PCL Construction
If you've ever heard Damion Morris speak, you know the energy and clarity he brings to every engagement. As Program Lead, Damion brings the same drive to this committee—pushing for programming that energizes attendees and equips them with actionable strategies.
At PCL Construction, Damion leads marketing and communications for the company's largest region, overseeing initiatives across California's booming building sector. He's a past president of SMPS Los Angeles and a regular contributor to the Marketer. With a mission to evolve A/E/C marketing and help professionals unlock their "inner genius," Damion's influence ensures that Amplify A|E|C is as inspirational as it is educational.

Knowledge Resources at SMPS HQ, where she is responsible for driving strategic content and learning initiatives. Her goal is to empower A/E/C marketing and business development leaders to foster growth and excellence in the industry. A SMPS member since 2017, Danielle speaks to chapters and regional conferences about content and authenticity.
